The Burton Partnership
Donald W.
Burton began his venture capital career in 1973 with
Fidelity Venture Associates in Boston. Mr. Burton
founded South Atlantic Venture Partners in 1983 and
has represented South Atlantic in numerous
investments, including Outback Steakhouse, Inc.,
Regal Cinemas, Inc., Telecom*USA, ITC^DeltaCom,
Inc., Silk Greenhouse, Inc., MTL, Inc. and Powertel,
Inc. He serves as a director of the National Venture
Capital Association. Mr. Burton holds a BA degree in
American Studies from Yale University and an MBA
from the Harvard Business School.
